Thursday, October 01, 2009 at 04:31 PMHi Merely, I am like you, I like to limit the amount of meds that I take, but I do take Bac. everyday, would not go without it. I asked one of my doctors should I not take it I think I told you what she said, go without it and see what happens, I did, i realized, I do better with it. I no longer have a monthly, THANK THE LORD!
I have been gutted and cleaned, and love it! When I was first gutted and cleaned I still experienced the symptoms, but I no longer have them. My opinion, no longer producing off spring, gt rid of the organs. It just works for me. I do hve one ovary, so I do nothave to take horomone pills, I love it! That is just me, it works for me

Baclofen

Wednesday, October 07, 2009 at 02:00 PMHi Merely,
As I said before I do take baclofen, have for 3 years, and wouldn't be with out it. It does help!! I've just recently stopped the monthly thing, but YES I did notice changes in my MS (for the worst) when I had it. Much more tired, and definetly more depressed and more trouble with my MS symptoms.
Oh as far as the baclofen goes, my Dr. tells me that I have to take it regularly in order to stay in my system and work, and I'm NOT to stop taking it as it can cause seizures, (or something like that). You have to be weaned off it slowly. I was not directed to take it "as needed", nor was that an option. This is where I get confused with doctors and how they treat patients, with medicine that is.
I'll be interested to know what your instructions are regarding your taking baclofen.
Thanks for sharing your information with me.

Since I'm not a woman (last I checked), I'm gonna talk about the first part of your post. Baclofen does help, yes. Sometimes I have thought that it's all in my mind--because there are no really hit you in the head with a hammer sort of effects--but when I go without taking it, I soon find that it was quietly doing its job all along.
Today I got flexeril for my new back pain. Wonder what the two will do together?
