If you read all the articles and statistics, it becomes clear that the odds of NOT getting PML are actually better than they were after the trials. The big difference to me is that these two cases were only using T, and not another MS drug. That gave me pause for thought.
I had my 12th T infusion two days ago. I had been re-evaluating since Thursday night. I somehow developed a UTI on Friday and was having a flare-up by Saturday. I got it treated and got the ok for my infustion on Tuesday. The thing was, on Tuesday, I knew I wanted my next infusion. I had processed everything I'd read, and determined that I sitll think it is the right things for me, at least for now. I've been on four different MS drugs, and T has the least side effects, the least horrible delivery system (to me), and has prevented active lesions in me for a year.
It was kind of annoying to me that the news was so focused on the stock crash and not the patients and dr.'s, but I'm naive like that.
