About Me

I am 49 years old. I was diagnosred with relapsing/remittingMS in 1997. My mother has progressive. I have many times heard that this disease is not painful and not hereditary -not true in my caseand many others I have heard of... go figure ?

I try to stay optimistic, I like to laugh . Thought the perfect fun thing to be is a "stand-up comic" - in my case it could be "a stand-up/fall-down comic"  (works for me  !!)

I have a volunteer position At the BC Forest Discovery Centre( I worked there full-time for ten years prior) I loved my job and everything about it, but could no longer guarantee or even speculate that my energy level would last.I am a Gas/Diesel Locomotive Engineer and a Steam Locomotive Fireman.We run a  narrow gauge railway on just over 100 acres near Duncan BC(central Vancouver Island)I really love running our 1910 Steam Locomotive and everyone "loves a train right !!
