I used to be an active person. Playing volleyball, walking, riding my bike. I even bought a thing on TV called "The Bean" which was basically, well, a huge, blow-up bean-shaped ball to do crunches on. These days, that is the only thing I feel I am capable of, if, that is, I can get it from the basement where it sits and collects dust.
My legs are the reason I had to get a disabled parking permit. They are my biggest gripe these days, even though I take two meds to help relieve some of the spasticity and pain. I am a kindergarten teacher with 23 students. When we go to lunch across the building, I start out leading, and end up at the caboose. Legs are something I will never take for granted again.
If you happen to have thigh trouble like I do, take my advice: Do not by "The Bean", unless you need an inflatable foot rest. Do take every opportunity to stretch those muscles, kick your feet up, and get plenty of rest. And take advantage of the meds that are out there. Cut back on sugar---that might help. Oh, there is my husband calling me to come take my MS shot and go to bed. Bye for now and keep moving for a little while longer and then nighty night!

Shelly honey,
I am right there with you. I use to, key word, use to walk 4 miles every morning before I went to work, now I do good, if I can walk four steps without taking my med. MS robbed me of that, but my legs are still cute.
Honey but with the new meds that they are supose to come out with and more excerises maybe I will be able to wear my heels again and show off my legs, and do those four miles again. I am with you friend. We will all hang in their together. Take care. Remain Cute! Sherry
hey, at least your legs are cute! I have never been a fan of mine....I got my mother's "cankles". (when your calves and ankles seem to blend in together
) Thanks for writing!
