Wow, it has been a wile since I have checked in. Let me see.....My mom has passed now that set me back a bit, that was hard on me, she was my best friend. But I knew that I had to get over it, and I did, but I am better now because I know she would want me to do better and I still have my pops, now he is 80. My MS is doing all right I am on Gil now, I cannot spell it so I short change it lol lol :) we will see how it goes. While at the doc off there were several people there alreadly on the drug and have been for a while so hey they were doing good so I should be all right. Life goes on and is good it could be worst so for that I am grateful. Merely Me Hi, Miss You!

Hi Sherry!!

So good to see you. I'm sorry your mother passed away. That truly must have been tough on you. Fortunately you have time to cherish your father.

Good news on the MS and Gilenya. I am acquainted with several people who are using that with good results. Also a few who had strange side-effects so they quit after not taking it for too long. Keep in touch with your doctor and let him/her know how you're doing.

I'm really glad to hear that you are doing so well. Your positive attitude has often inspired me over the years. Can you believe that we 'met' here four years ago? Wow, time flies.

It's been a quiet summer here online, but not in offline life. I've been planning for my wedding in October. So much to do, so little time to write.

Im glad you decided to check in..Yes it's been a while. Soo you're tryn Gilenya? (I don't know how to spell it either). Hope its working for you. Summer has been quiet for me. Mostly I've been doing PT. I guess it's working cause it sure hurts. I hang on to the old saying "no pain no gain" They gave me some pain pills. I don't take em right cause I don't want to depend on them.

Met a new guy at the PT place. He's tall and attractive like me. A couple of years older with similar experiences. Guess what? He has MS too. He's SPMS and has a Segway. I have a scooter. Think we make a scene on the street together. I enjoy his company as we understand our challanges and issues. He has a car and has taken me to support group with him. It good to have a friend. It's been a long time.

As always hope you and yours are well and happy.

I have missed my online friends! I have only started taking this drug but I seem to feel better maybe it is allin my head, but whatever works I will take it! I am still buying handbags! Gotta stop! Still taking photos when I get out luv doing that, got to clean my craft room, what a mess! Only I can get around in it lol lol lol Drives my husband crazy! I have missed U guys, but it is good to be back! Just needed a mental break to clear my head from loosing my mom, my oldest child took it soooo hard she was her firt gran so it was and still is very hard on her, and my youngest is closer to my dad she looks just like him, my oldest looked just like my mom. But life must go on I had to learn that! You guys take care, and I am back!

Thanksgiving & Christmas is coming U guys! What is everyone doing for the holidays! This can be a touchy time of the year for those of us who have MS. So we must prepare! I am already planning...I am going to put my tree up but this year I am going to do Pink wow what a crazy color! I am going to do my best to think positive and do something in rememberance of those no longer here because that is what they would want me to do! Smile when I feel sorrowful shed a tear when I need to because it is alright to cry it is good for the soul! Keep it moving no shame in cryin life really does go on, just smile! Enjoy the holidays, they really are a beautiful time of year!

Welcome back, Sherry! Glad to hear from you. SO sorry about the passing of your beloved mom. She is smiling down on you, proud of the way you are moving on and keep her in your heart at the same time.

Can you believe the holidays are around the corner? We will go into the sunshine of FL soon and looking forward to that after surviving Hurricane Sandy.

I hope you are doing well on Gilenya. Keep us posted and, again, so happy to hear from you.

so good to hear from U. I am doing good. I have days that I really miss my mom but I guess that is norml I still got my pops that I talk with everyday, but I really mis my mom especially around the holidays, but I got to keep it moving. Today I am going o try and make my own Xmas carde, I got all this eqipment, and I need to use it lol lol. I have a friend in Fla with another autoaume illness well she is my cousin I talk with her all the time we encourage each other, life really is good! Enjoy Fla be safe, swin with the Dolp[ins I luv them! Have fun and thanks for replyiong, it did a body good lol lol :)

Fla, Have Fun! Yes Sandy did make a mess!! I am doing pretty good. I think I might hve had a light relaswp I am not sure I ddid not go to the doc. there was a couple of days I had trouble walking and getting around butit past. But now I am doing alright. Looking forward to Xmas, decided I am going to try and use some of these machines I have in my fake office lol lol :) I am ging to try and make my Xmas cards, and I have a silk screen machine brand I need to learn how to use lol time to learn how to use these things lol lol :) . Enjoy Fla and the holidays.
