Growing up Country

Growing up for me was somewhat of an adventure.  I am sure that you have heard the saying, "I'm a little bit, country'."  Let me give you a little background.  My parents grew up in Georgia.  They grew up picking peas, corn, feeding hogs, milking cows, herding cows.  In fact my grandfather, had the first electric cow milking thingies, dairy.  I am not sure what it is called.  When my brother went back and researched our family tree.  I think that our ship landed somewhere in Germany, and that is where my MS comes from.  How lucky can one be!  No one in years as far as we can find has had it, I am the lucky one!  But we did find plenty of Cancer, and heart disease. So I guess I really am lucky!  At least I think so.  Since everyone in the family knows that I have MS now, everybody wants to research the family tree now, just to make sure that their little bundle of joys do not come down with MS they are so stupid, I think that it is kinda funny.  MS is not funny, but some of them act like, if I get to close to her I might catch it, so sometimes, if I m in their presence, I fake sneeze and cough, you should see them scatter!  I have a cousin from New York who is with me most of the time along with my husband and girls, we laugh uncontrollably, is that being cruel and mean...I sure hope so!  But anyway I have gotten off tract, blame it on the MS, when we were growing up, we took our vacations down in the country of Georgia.  Boy I look back now, MS was trying so hard to show it's head but could not back then.  I guess picking those peas, and corn, and feeding those pigs and cows, in that hot Georgia sun was something that had to be done.  So MS had to wait.  Well more later, I will continue with "Growing up Country" and how MS was there, but I did not know it.Undecided
