You know, most of us have the dreaded "Foot drop" I have "Foot Fall" Well I have broken my Left leg, knee, ankle, and my right shoulder. But my foot drop is in my left foot. But my delimea is when I fall it is now always on my left knee. Now it is at the point of giving out. I can be hoping along real cute like and that knee will do it's own thing and just give out
, and down I will go, it really is kinda funny at times!
you should see the expressions on folks faces! But do you think it is becasue of the MS, it sometimes hurts or shall I say is sore, Tiger Balm works good, it has been checked for uncle aruther non there so I think it is the MS. But I just wanted to get your thoughts. No more doctors right now, enought prodding and needles, I just would love your thoughts, you know me

Hi Sherry, I have been wondering about this very thing. During my recent hospital nightmare, I noticed the incredible pain in the knee, full of fluid on the ultra sound. It is the right leg , the first side of my lower body to go numb to the hip in 2007. The foot felt like a block of wood. The LEFT knee was replaced in 2006, before I knew I had MS. They think I've had MS since the late 80's but the symptoms escalated in 2000. I am 59. No DX until 2007 when the leg went numb, I could't breathe, had Optic Nueroitis and bladder problems, also confusion and lethargy. I didn't know there was a name for dragging my foot, straight legged accross the floor when I walk. That's recent. During the solumedrol IV in the hospital, all of my swollen joints begame highly inflamed and I was told the steroids should be IMPROVING imflam., not making it worse. Instead of listening to the patient, they blew off my complaint. They even tried to ulta sound the OTHER leg because their orders were written wrong. Sorry, I ramble. Medical Professional's wounds are still too fresh and I'm still outraged. I've been told I have severe osteoarthritis since the early 90's. Could it have been MS all along? What do you think? Also, are these postings getting to the public forums. I'm still too new to this to figure it all out and I've lost two questions already. Can you help? By the way, an ice pack helps a little, but only if you don't overdo it. Katkan
You know, I don't know. Sounds crazy. I may end up goinbg to the doctory, bad as I hate to I may have to give in. I have fallen on this knee toomany times to count. No Arthur, I think it is more MS than anything. Now I have had MS all my life, it just stayed dorminat until the ripe age of 44. It started out with foot drag with my left leg. My knee is not swollen it just hurts and burns a little. I do not want the doctors to make a big deal, I hate big deals. But I will keep all posted. sherry/smomdukes
