A chance for clinical trial participants to have a voice before pharmaceutical companies/researchers

By TickledPink Saturday, May 12, 2012

Hi! I have an amazing opportunity to speak at a conference in Boston on 9/14/12.

http://www.theconferenceforum.org/DisruptiveInnovationsInClinicalTrials-Overview.html

I have been invited because of blogging my clinical trial (TRANSFORMS trial for Fingolimod/Gilenya from 2007-2011) and will be speaking to those who design clinical trials about the growing role of social media in their research.

If you have been, or are currently, a clinical trial patient in ANY trial, please read my most recent blog post and see how your voice can be heard.

http://gilenya.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-social-media-is-impacting-face-of.html

If you were given the opportunity to stand face to face with the top researches of your trial what would you say, ask, recommend, suggest?

It's the start of a dialog that puts a human face to the clinical trial participant.

Please take a moment to share this in any way you can (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blog post, 2 tin cans and a string) and spread the word to as many trial participants as possible.

Thanks for your help :)

I'm so excited that you are invited to do this.  Representing the patient community in this way is wonderful.  Thank you for all that you've done in the past 5 years and everything that you continue to do.  Simply wonderful.
