Drugs I am Taking
About Me
I have been in a Phase 3 clinical trial for FTY720 (fingolimod) for over a year now, having recently entered the extension phase. It is one of several oral disease modifying drugs currently being tested and is showing great promise. I'm excited because I have gone from averaging one relapse every 3 months to being 17 months relapse-free. For all of you MSers out there who are feeling hopeless and hating needles, I just want to let you know that exciting things are on the horizon...and it won't be forever! It's coming soon!
