The Heavy Door Dilemma

If you use an assistive device to help you get around your neighborhood then you may have the same problem I often run into.  While I am very happy that I have a mobilized scooter so I can get around Manhattan independently, once I get where I want to be, whether I ride the scooter directly or I take it on one of the city buses, I... Read moreChevron

New Shoes

Twelve weeks ago I started losing my balance and could not wear my high-heeled shoes. This was a cause of great concern for me because ordinarily, I can run in high heels -- fast, really fast if I had to.  Then I started getting these awful muscel spasms.  I went to my doctor, who was quite concerned because I am a healthy person . . . I... Read moreChevron
