Pediatric MS

At a Glance

Less than 5% of adults with Multiple Sclerosis also exhibited telling behaviors prior to 18 years old. Multiple Sclerosis is particular difficult to determine by pediatricians due to overlapping symptoms with other childhood health conditions. Children display many similar Multiple Sclerosis symptoms as adults, with the exception that they may also experience seizures or have an onset of pronounced lethargy or other mental indicators. Although MS progression is slower in children, increasing disability may build up due to overall time of MS condition incubation.
