Secondary Progressive MS

At a Glance

The progression of Relapsing-Remitting MS in some patients leads to Secondary-Progressive MS, where the disease is no longer relapsing, but rather, it is a constant, steady progression.  Progression and transition times are variable among patients with this condition; there is no set timetable for developing SPMS.
