Exacerbations

Can someone explain exacerbations to me? I have been having MS symptoms for some time now and I am in limbo at the time no dx yet, the left side of my face is numb off and on (Just about every day).  but only by my ear and cheeck. Fampridine

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Chris Cox. I had Tysabri infusion #4 today. I was on avonex then copaxone prior to tysabri. I feel much better on tysabri than the others. Looking forward to meeting new friends.
