Wow, sounds like you are in a tough place.  The MS disease-modifying drugs are ones which are designed to be taken longterm.  The effect of them (in general) tends to build over time.   Now the question I would want to ask your neuro is: If I take Gilenya for 3 months and it works, then I stop, would it work as effectively when I start taking it at a later time?  That would be my concern.   How does Novartis' program work?  Could you tell us more about the business with exhausting Medicaid?  It is important to learn this information from folks who have firsthand experience.
