when i bend my neck i get weak in the ankles and just not walking well at all. should i give drugs more time to work. im on prednisone taper. or should i call my neuro immediately.

Hi apinto,
I'm sorry that you have had a recent relapse requiring IVSM. I've noticed, and others have said similar, that after the steroids begin to work through your system and the taper really does taper down that symptoms might seem to get worse. This has always been temporary for me.
But always, whenever you have questions or concerns call your doctor. That is one reason he/she is there. Perhaps judge how you feel in the morning and think about calling if you are still concerned.

thank you so much for your response. i really am not feeling well at all and my walking is worse than it was before the ivsm. im just going to go ahead and call my doctor in the morning just to be on the safe side. again thanks so much for your reply.
