Hi Diana,

I don't know what the exact shelf-life of Prozac would be.  However, I do know that it is recommended that you not use prescription medications which are over a year old.  My sister-in-law pharmacist sticks by this rule.  Some drugs lose their effectiveness over time.

This probably doesn't help you decide whether to take the old pills until you can get back to the pharmacy.  Perhaps call the pharmacy and ask them what they recommend.  Do you have the original prescription bottle?  That might provide just enough information for them to give you a specific recommendation.

Hope that does help some.
