Hi Tanya,

Absolutely, you are eligible to have both MS and fibromyalgia.  I have come across other MS patients who had both.  Typically, fibromyalgia falls under the watchful eye of a rheumatologist, a physician who specialized in arthritis, inflammatory diseases, and connective tissue disorders.

Here is information regarding Fibromyalgia found on the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) website. At the bottom of the page, you will find organizations which have more information about Fibromyalgia.

Here is a collection of posts and information found on HealthCentral regarding Fibromyalgia.

Thank you for your question and I hope you find answers.

Many people have both. A pain point test can diagnose fibromyalgia.
