Hi angelbmj,

Let me echo what beba violet and torargh have said. You will not regret going to the doctor and finding it is nothing; however, you may regret not going to the doctor.

Numbness is one of those symptoms that often points to MS, and it is better to start treatment as early as possible. Then, on the other hand, you may find out it is something entirely different.

Going to the doctor may answer your question better than any of us can. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

please go to a doctor. because if it is ms and the longer you go w/o treatment to more damage it could be to your body. it sounds like ms. but there are lots of other conditions that have the same symptoms as ms, but u never know. better safe than sorry. i was very healthy and hardly ever got sick but i was dianosed w/ ms earlier this year and im only 23 yrs old. so i strongly advise you to go see your doctor or to a neurologist.

I hope by now you have seen a good neurologist and had MRIs! Don't just go to a primary care physician unless you have to first. Find the BEST neurologist in your area and go. My Seattle magazine lists names of the best doctors. I go to one of the neurologists listed. I say that in case you don't know who to go to. Good luck, but do not delay. ~ LinDiego
