Hi possumkittycat (love that name btw),

Welcome.  It is very difficult to advise on new drugs because I'm not a medical professional.  And the doctors here could not advise you because they are not YOUR doctor.

Basically, I'm saying that Dr. Woodfin would be your best source of information on options for your specific situation.  However, you can read about Treatments for Peripheral Neuropathy here.

Ten years to be able to walk again - that's amazing.  I can understand how you might be fearful of regressing or getting worse and not being able to walk again.  That's frightening.

I recommend that you share all of your concerns with your doctor.  Prepare for your visit by writing down your symptoms, describe what seems to bring them on, share what you try to do about it, and tell him/her how much the pain affects your daily life.

I hope that you find some relief soon.  Thank you for your question.  Perhaps others will have ideas to add.

Lisa
