Hi toby,
I had heard that fingolimod would be available late this year, but I am afraid that might be ambitious.
Fingolimod is currently in phase III clinical trials, and phase III trials are often lengthy. There are many others, like you, who are anxiously awaiting a fingolimod prescription. When it is available, I'm sure we will hear.
After phase II, it was reported that this drug prevented 60 to 70% of relapses. Fantastic! No wonder so many people would like to have this oral and effective treatment.
I hope your current treatment is effective until fingolimod is approved and released.
