Q: emotions such as angry outbursts, isolation from others, mood swings - are these related to ms
Hi NJN,
The mental health issues which you mention certainly can be related to MS. Just recently, I began a series of posts which will address many aspects of mental health and MS. You can read the beginning here - Mental Health, Mood, and MS: A Fresh Look.
I suffered a great deal from these types of emotions. My neurologist put me on an anti-depressant and it did wonders. I still have some of these feelings but the severity is much less.
