I've had verdigo and visual problems falling down and do not want to drive due to perifial vision is not good, think cars are going to run into me. MRI has leisions so many i stopped counting. My spinal tap came back ok. Dr. first said it could me MS. Now since spinal tap came back fine he wants to put me on fibromyalgia Med. Savella. Told me to come back in 6 months for follow up. Funny thing is I didn't go to him because of pain but due to verdigo and abnormal MRI findings. Is this normal , before MS diagnosis. I know my life will not change much because i've been dealing with alot of weird symptoms for several years. but if MS med can help thats what all want.

The process of diagnosis for MS can be a very long one. There is specific criteria which must be met before a diagnosis can be made. Sounds like you meet some of that criteria but not enough....just yet. Most likely in six months your doctor will want to take another look for changes in lesions which would then meet the criteria.
Regarding Savella. Medications are often used for purposed outside of their limited FDA approval. Savella affects neurotransmitters in the brain. Most likely your doctor believes that this may help with your symptoms.
It is always okay to get a second opinion if you feel unsure about the advice which your doctor is giving you. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
