I think the national ms society have a paper on fatigue. More often than not it is finding what works for you  ie:- plenty of rest, power naps, diet and maybe some nutritional supplements. hope you get to grips with it soon and good luck with your degree

Hi, Lola!

I'm 20 years old and in college, and I also have problems with the fatigue. I recently started doing yoga, and that reenergizes me for the rest of the day. I've realized I get most tired around 3 or 4 in the afternoon and it gets worse as the night goes on so I do yoga right after I get done with class for the day around 1 or 2 and I feel better. If that doesn't work, I take a 20 minute power nap. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. But so far, the yoga seems to be working most of the time. I hope this helps! I understand how frustrating it can be to not be able to concentrate because of how tired you are...

Watch for an article on the MS page about MS and Yoga in the very near future...

I have discovered that magnesium was needed in my system.  I tried taking it orally but didnt see a difference.  I started soaking in epsom salt a week ago and I have gotten amazing results in my energy, balance and numbness leaving.  I also began using a spray that I spray directly on numb areas.

"Epsom salt is rich in both magnesium and sulfate. While both magnesium and sulfate can be poorly absorbed through the stomach, studies show increased magnesium levels from soaking in a bath enriched with Epsom salt! Magnesium and sulfate are both easily absorbed through the skin. Sulfates play an important role in the formation of brain tissue, joint proteins and the proteins that line the walls of the digestive tract. They stimulate the pancreas to generate digestive enzymes and are thought to help detoxify the body of medicines and environmental contaminants."

The spray is inexpensive and found at

I hope it helps you as much as it helped me.  My energy is 100% better...I soak twice a day for a half hour.
