Greetings!

I think most of us can sympathize with the soreness and rolling from side to side, using pillows under the knees, etc.  ANYTHING to get a good night's rest...

BUT, as for the black and blue marks, I think you should consult your doc about that.  I don't think bruising is a typical MS symptom.  It could indicate something as off-the-wall as night terrors (in which you might injure yourself), or something as complex as a platelet problem or a clotting problem with your blood.  It could be many different things, but your doctor should be made aware.

Let us know what the doc says.  Best wishes!!!

Hi Becky/Wake me when it's over --

I also have bruises because I am either bumping into walls, doors, and chairs ....or reaching for them as I lose my balance to keep from falling. I'd rather be black and blue than fall.

As for getting a good night's rest, I sleep better when my bowels are empty. Otherwise, a full bowel puts pressure on my bladder and I feel like I have to get up pee - so I get up every hour and sleepwalk to the bathroom.... yet *very* little comes out.

I know that upping one's vitamin C intake is often recommended for bruising. Check with your doc first and see what he/she thinks about what taking vit. C supplements can do for you.

Hope this helps somehow...

Heidi
