I have been on Avonex for three years but recently stopped taking it because of fatigue and depression. I know I need to start taking some type of MS drug. I am thinking about Copaxone. Also, I have heard some things about Low Dose Naltraxone. Anyone familiar with that? I would like to hear from someone who took Avonex and then changed to Copaxone.

Check out LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone). I just stopped Avonex too in preparation for taking LDN. Don't expect doctor to support you. Learn for yourself. I see that LDN is listed in your categories, so you probably know about it. I've decided to go forward. You have to make a decision too. try www.lds.org Good luck

I was on Avonex for 2 years before changing to Copaxone. There are far fewer side affects with the Copaxone-no flu like symptoms. The only issue is some burning at the injection site that usually diminishes in a few minutes. Very happy with the move!

I asked my family doctor to perscribe LDN, he wouldn't. Have you found someone who will?
