Q: I have RRMS and my sister is having numbness on the whole right side of her body that comes and goes. Could she have MS also and if so how can she get her doctor refer her to a neurologist?

Hi Anna,

Yes, numbness on your sister's side could be MS, but it could be any number of other things.


I do not know how she can get a reference. She can talk with her doctor, describe her condition and request a reference. She has to feel comfortable with her relationship with her doctor. If that comfort and trust is not there, she might find more satisfaction changing doctors.
