Hi Theresa,   I just read your recent Sharepost, was looking at your profile, and saw that you had been asking some questions.  I'm relatively new here so I hadn't seen your questions before.   It is very possible that the pain your are describing would not necessarily be helped with traditional pain medication.  I experience nerve pain which is relieved by Neurontin.  I also experience spasticity (extreme tightness) in my feet and calves which is relieved by Baclofen.   I don't know if you've talked to your neurologist about what you're experiencing right now.  Sometimes even a call to the office can provide you an opportunity to tell him/her what's going on and help decide whether it's time to come in or not.   I certainly hope that you find relief from the pain soon.  Hang in there.   Lisa
