Hi there

I wanted to first tell you that I am concerned that you have put your phone number out here so publicly.  This site is on google and searches and you might not want such personal information exposed.

And secondly...I am so sorry that you are going through so much with your teeth.  I began having gum problems which coincided with my having gotten a diagnosis of MS.

Dr. Gross wrote a very good article about dentistry and MS which you may find here.

I am not sure how we can best help.  Are you asking for information about finding a new dentist?  Let us know more about how we can provide information to you.

hahahaha Now THAT is a funny dentist. I have had MS for over 20 years, my teeth are fine, had wisdom teeth removed--NO PROBLEM; but Ohhh the dentists horror stories I've heard! (NONE to do with MS, just poor dental expertise) What is his excuse? The MS drug you take weakens your gums or enamel? Vit D too low? I don't know your situation, but my advice is to find a better dentist. I know, I know, it is not easy or cheap, but it took me YEARS to find good ones and worth the wait! Ask your neurologist what your dentist might mean. I encourage my docs to TALK to each other---a team effort. Good luck, I know it is a pain in the...mouth.
