Hi Diane,
The MSAA (Multiple Sclerosis Association of America) has an "MRI Diagnostic Fund" however it can only be used for the diagnosis of MS, not for the monitoring of MS after dx. I am not aware of any other MRI funding programs, unfortunately. Call your local chapter of the NMSS to see if there are local programs or county programs in your area. www.nmss.org

Lisa,
We were just made aware of this post so I want to thank you for the referral to our MRI Diagnostic program and also let you know that the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America has a second MRI program specific for follow-up MRIs. This program is the MRI Institute and also helps uninsured or under insured MS patients who already have a diagnosis obtain a follow-up MRI which is very important to help track disease changes and monitor treatment. Both MRI programs are free of charge. For more information and to obtain an application, please visit www.mymsaa.org or call (800) 532-7667, ext. 120. Thank you for your continued support to the MS community.
