First I'm no expert but feel like I should be on this question--I have been told this since 1989 and now days I laugh and tell them guess what? your right it is in my HEAD! Some of my friends even tell me that still till this day-my husband says ignore them they don't know any better.

But in all honest I myself still have alot of questions too!

Guess what the joke is on them!!!!!!!!!!!  MS is a Nuero diease IT IS ALL IN OUR MIND, IT ATTACKS OUR BRAIN, so it is all in our mind Wink it eats away our protective mylin, so do not feel bad, hey they are right!  Smile, but guess what, you have got the last laugh! You are not crazy, they are, but you know why, they don't!

Sherry/smomdukesKiss  Life's good with MS, I knew it would come in handy some day!Laughing

I am still in limbo with "possible to probable" ms. Unfortunately, my husband thinks I am faking my symptoms.  For attention or something else?  I don't think so.  I would not want these symptoms for anything in the world.

However, how can someone who does NOT have MS, or possible, understand the feelings or symptoms we have if they don't have it?  So I just chalk it up to "they just don't understand" and I go on with my life.  Fortunately, my friends at MS Central understand and these are the people who I talk to.

By the way, my neuro said for me to come in now instead of 6 weeks from now as my next neuro appointment was set for.  Hmmm, I wonder what's going on.  Good luck and be assured that you have friends that listen here.  Linda
