Hi Carol,

2nd degree burns sound very painful to me.  I'm glad to hear that you are healing nicely.  Regarding the numbness and tingling, I have no idea if it could be related to your burn.  A few years ago I began experiencing symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.  The pain became worse at night and was excrutiating.  You should tell your doctor about this new pain to get an expert opinion on what is going on.  Maybe it's something that a simple pain reliever can help, or maybe a different condition is developing.  Let us know what you learn and I hope that you begin to feel better soon.
