Hi Jan,

I am also secondary progressive (SPMS). I have not heard that particular phrase, but I know there are many specialists who consult in rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation.

Many of us, if not most, had MS for a long period of time before diagnosis. That is probably due to the time period It takes to diagnose. Sometimes after diagnosis people can remember episodes long ago that may indicate MS.

What can you expect? I'm sorry to say I had no appointment so I cannot say with any authority. However, my guess would be you will review your treatment program a possible methods of rehabilitation. Please let us know because your question has made me curious and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Have a good appointment. I look forward to hearing about it.
