Q: Avonex is not available in Iran anymore, Sinovex is manufactured in stead here in Iran, but I don't trust it. My MS type is progressive. I need your adivce, please.
Cinnovex is a new drug to me. For readers who are also unfamiliar, it is a generic version of Avonex which is manufactured by CinnaGen (an Iranian pharma company) in collaboration with Fraunhofer Institute (a German company).
I am unfamiliar with the availability of medications in Iran. You may want to contact the MS Society in Iran to learn if you may have any other options. Let us know what you learn.
