I can only say that I tried Nuvigil for one week and as everyone's body chemistry is different, it made me extremely sleeply...all I wanted to do was sleep. For the last two years I have been taking Provigil, but my Doc said that the company had come out with something new, ie Nuvigil, less expensive, and better than Provigil. Needless to say I am back on the Provigil. Have you tried that? I am new to this website, so can only say what has worked for me. I do not take the 200 mg capsule, but half of one. Some days I do not take it, as, we all know, when we push ourselves, we end up "paying the piper".
I have never taken Adderall so cannot say anything about that, except that my adopted children who have ADHD could not handle it, it changed them into mad little kids and they have always been very happy. But like I said everyone's body chemistry reacts differently. Hope this helpful
