my husband has ppms, also has lung emfyseem.....

my husband has ppms, also has lung emfyseem (he is a heavy smoker), extreme muscle weakness in his upper body and now has been diagnosed apnea. Is this a fatal combination of sicknesses or do other ms sufferers have the same? I am very worried about him. He has now had ms for 6...
