Hello Big C; I"m Mike. Been taking Betaseron for seven months now. After three or four inj. could feel a big difference. Balance much better, I was missing some little unknown little quirks, or annoying little bottom of the list symptoms. As far as not being able walk, no, my walking allowed me to walk without holding on to something. You might want to give your Neuro a call, or your Beta Nurse. Whatever injection you use, You know this as I do, have to keep rotating the sites. How ever if I'm by my self, and my dogs don't have thumbs, I'll go to a reachable area. I could ask a neighbor, Naw! I just have to write it down, and stay away from that spot for 48hrs. I hope it works out for you. So far for me so good.........GOD BLESS YOU & YOURS............. Mike...........
Hi there; I was using Beta ince 2004. Now this is just for me, my walking got worst, but other than that I felt fine. I no longer us Beta, and my walking has improved. I stoped because I had no insurance just yet, but my walking did get better about a month after I stopped. I may get my doc. to put me on something else. Abnother thing I did not like about Beta, it caused my urine to have this god awful odor. Since stopping that has stopped. But I would strongly suggest that you talk with your nuero, that is the first step I would take.

Mike, Thank you so much for that encouragement. I hope it's like that for me after 3 or 4 injections. I did call the Beta Nurse. She said that she would report this. I plan to take more Tylenol in the future. I hope that will help me. It took about 2 hours for me to regain my walking ability. I hope this doesn't happen again. Wow! What would we do without God and His mercies. Thank you for the blessing and may God bless you. Sarah
