i am noticing what looks like cellulite on my injection sites.
i am currently taking avonex. i have only been on it for a year. i am young and fit. so i know it cant be cellulite, but i only inject in my thighs, as per my doctors request. lately i have been noticing what looks like cellulite....but only at the injection sites. m i doing soemthing wrong? is this normal.
Actually almost all women have cellulite even if you work out. It is just fat closer to the skin. I had same problem as you with copoxone.
You are doing nothing wrong. It is just the nature of the beast and the continual injections in same area.

you can do under your belly button but I should warn you if you miss or go to deep, it is a day long killer. Very painful!
I have thin arms too but if you are able to position yourself correctly it is easy. But that comes with practice.
Or, try pulling the skin on thigh up and insert needle that way. (I insert needles in my animals' fur that way as well) Immediately put some OTC cortisone on it and should help with any itching and swelling.
Or, ask your doctor for a needle and syringe that is empty so you can praactice. Just make sure you clean the needle with alcohol each time you do it. I would NOT suggest using it then putting needle away and trying a later time due to risk of bacteria.

thank u for ur response. i just wish there were other places i could inject. my arms are way too thin. n the tops of my thighs are also very boney. im afraid it will go too deep!
