Q: does any one have any sugestion do to what to do in my finandial sitation due to my MS? I have exp

      I also have MS and I am unable to work account of my sudden and long lasting relapes, My past job ended aug-15th 2009 and there are no jobs out there that would put up with me missing work after only a couple of days starting the job. My husband is a logger and will not be working for 2 months do to spring breakup and some times he is out of work way longer do to the weather. We had to sell our home for just the amount we owed on it because we could not aford the morgage payments, my sister sold us her land with the agreement we dont have to pay anything untill June of 2011. My husband put up a 16by 24 shed that i uncompleated, our son inlaw dug the whole for the basement but we dont have any money to put the basement in, there is no well or septic on the lan, we can stay in our home untill April 1st 2010. all of our curent bill are a couple months past due, My husband and myself are so overwelmed we dont know what to do. My neurligist faxed the MS sicielty to contact me, witch they did contact me and their resorces are very limited. Thank god i do have insurence to pay my docter visits and my Medicine with only a $3.00 copay and my monthly premiam for my insurance is only $8.00 thank God.  There is alot of stree related to all of our other finacial situation that I know its causing my MS to flair up. I have tryed to find monitary help but there is noting out there. Would You or anyone else have any sugestions to help me know what to do?

Lori, I am so sorry to hear about your troubles.  But trouble never last always.  Are you on disability, if not go ahead and aply.  If you get approved that will be some money coming in at leasts.  Get in touch with your local Social Services, see what they can do to give you guys some help.  Apply for Food Stamps, we have paid for them with our tax dollars.  Have you husband apply for Unemployment the months that he is not working.  That will be some income.  I do not know if this info will help, but I hope it gives you a start.
