Hi Jolan,

I wrote a post about Hoffmann sign here - http://www.healthcentral.com/multiple-sclerosis/c/19065/129802/reflex/

You don't mention if you have MS or not.  The Hoffmann reflex is similar to the Babinski sign which indicates a disruption in nerve signals.  Watch a video showing normal and abnormal Hoffmann responses.  An abnormal response could be caused by the type of nerve damage caused by MS.

Definitely talk to your doctor about the symptoms you are experiencing.  If you are having new or increased symptoms, don't delay.  Call the office.
