I have notice that I keep haveing kinney infection and there is time I can't seem to urinate and that's when the kinneys start hurting, I have ask friends if they have this problem but they say no.Is ther anyone out there with the same. and also my memory is getting worse

Hi Kathy,
Have you discussed the reoccurring kidney infections with your primarily doctor or neurologist? With MS it is important to try to address any problems with the bladder so that infections are less likely to occur. Ask to see a urologist who can help you with urinating regularly. Here is a post which discussed some of the issues related to the Bladder and MS. Definitely seek some help for this.

Very interesting that you posted this. I was diagnosed on April 28 and started Avonex 7 weeks ago. I just went to the doctor today because I was having what I thought to be a bladder infection, and last night had such bad pain in my right kidney I could barely stand up. They found blood in my urine and I will know by tomorrow if I have a unrinary tract infection or a kidney stone. I have never had anything like this prior to being diagnosed but I am starting on some antibiotics today and hope that it gets better. I do not know if there is a connection with MS or Avonex.
