It is frustrating, I know, waiting for an MS treatment that actually regenerates damaged myelin. There is a lot of research, but I do not know of any successfil regeneration treatments yet.
In summer of last year there was a small trial in Chicago that showed the possibility of nerve recovery. No treatment, but almost promising. A larger trial is now underway.

Check this site - Myelin Repair Foundation. It is one good one that follows progress on that topic.
