According to a new study, Tysabri significantly increases the proportion of disease-free patients with relapsing multiple sclerosis (MS) compared with placebo after two years. In the study, 942 MS patients were given either intravenous Tysabri or a placebo once every four weeks for up to 116 weeks. Researchers found that the proportion of disease-free patients was significantly higher in the Tysabri group compared with the placebo group.
