FDA approves Extavia for multiple sclerosis

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a new medication called Extavia for the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS). Extavia is designed to help MS patients manage their disease by reducing the frequency of episodes of neurological dysfunction that characterize the condition. The drug's maker, Novartis, says it expect Extavia to be available in the fall of this year.  Read full story >
