Drugmaker says its MS drug reduces relapses

According to drugmaker Novartis, their experimental MS drug FTY720 reduces relapses and disability progression. Researchers found that a low dose of 0.5 mg appeared to help MS patients. Experts say the company is on schedule to apply for U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval in December 2009.  Read full story >
