when I was in highschool, specially my freshman and sophomore days I really don't care about what I eat. I eat all kinds of food that I really love eating. I ate too much sometimes more than my body needs and so I ended up being overweight then I became obese. they say its an unhealthy condition and my heart finds difficulty in functioning well as it should be. As I was advised by my doctor I did what I have to do.
Last 2003 of March I started eating without rice and did a lot of exercise and I did this kind of diet with the guidance of my doctor. Until now year 2008 I still continue eating without rice. The results were good enough somehow, because I weighed 220 lbs before while doing such diet and self control and eating habits I lost 45 lbs in two years and now a total of 55 lbs. But then recently I got carried away and I'm eating alot again of pastas and pizzas but I'm no longer an obese person though I gain some lbs. but again I have to have a control on my eating habits to reduce my weight and get rid off of those unwanted body fats and achieve my ideal weight. So that, I can live a healthy life.
