I would like to be able to plug my measurement (in inches and feet) into an online formula and get my BAI and then compare what it tells me to my BMI. But I can't find a simple plug-in-the-info site to get BAI. I think these are all tools that may or may not give an accurate picture of whether or not a person is overweight or obese. Yes, I also think as a health professional that most people can visually tell if they are overweight or obese or they can simply tell when they are gaining weight year to year and clothes are getting smaller sizes are going up. We are a bit challenged to sometimes identify people who carry visceral fat around their organs - which isn't readily visible and we are also challenged with slimmer people who weight wise are OK but who do not have enough muscle mass. So sometimes formulas help. They also help when people are in denial, a common situation.
Thanks for "weighing in."
