Hi I'm Leann

I had gastric by-pass  back on Oct. 20 2004, I did very well with it but now I have noticed that I'm gaining weight back. I know i"m not alone in this I would like to talk to people that have been through this too. I need help on how to get motivated again and stay there... I say i'm going to work out every day get my stuff together and then never go. I was going every day for like three years one before the sugery and the two after it then I slowly stopped going and now I just pay the fee's. can any one help with the motivation part.. and if you live close to Pittsburg or Concord Califorian I would love a walking or workout buddy..... any and all help is welcome

thanks for reading

Hugs

Hi Leann, I had surgery back on Feb 14, 2001  I did very well losing the weight for the first year and 1\2 a total of 115 lbs. The next few years i started gaining it back, going back to my old habits, you know the ole comfortable stuff? I think nobody really wants to admit that they "failed" ooh that hurt! I hate to admit it too...but here I am almost back to where I started...I hate myself for this addiction to food...thats whats so bad, how can anyone Love Me? when I cant Love Myself??? It is a struggle between ME,MYSELF and I.....I wish I had the answer for You,,,but I dont even know the answer for Me. I wish you luck with your journey,,let me know if you find out how to get back on tract. Good Luck...Joyce

I had the Gastric by pass surgery on July 2004, and I lost 200 lb but I am still obese I didn't loose all because I was 500 lb and I still have 300 lb. and the worse thing is that walking around with the excess of loose skin it's very hard for me because my body is so heavy for me to walk around. I was wondering has any one had a gastric by pass reconstructed before and where can I find out about this. I am only 38 years old and it's very upseting when it come to shop for cloth.

Thank you all if I can get any support my email address mariamtavarez@aol.com

I had my by pass in 1976 I was over 360# lost 230# and feel soooo much better.Over the years I have went up and down I was down to 113# I thought I looked good ,but my kids didn't so now I am back up to 140,I am trying to drop a few pounds again. I would tell anyone it is not a miracle cure YOU must change your eating habits, and eat the right foods or you will gain. It is a battle we face daily, but well worth it to be rid of all those extra pounds. Good luck to all who have it done. Pray a lot it helps!!!!!!!!!
