    Hi HealthGal,

A very timely article for me as I recently learned that I have Celiac disease. Thank you for sharing this information as I found it informative. Might you expound on "you also miss out on a variety of nutrients that you do need to then capture from other foods with similar nutrient profiles." I am curious to learn what nutrients I am missing and where/how I can get them.

Between the Celiac and the gastric bypass, my body is fairly compromised in its ability to absorb nutrients. I take many vitamins and supplements (amino acids, minerals, etc) but I am wondering if there is something further that you might recommend.

Thanks so much for your perspective!
