Childhood obesity is becoming a national epidemic in the United States.  Obesity rates for kids ages 2 to 5 have doubled in the past 40 years. Overweight children are at risk of developing life long health conditions like diabetes, cancer and heart disease. Instilling healthy eating habits and encouraging more physical activity and play time are the first steps to curbing obesity.
