Sleep Apnea

At a Glance

Obesity carries with it a high risk of sleep apnea, a condition which occurs when the upper threat relaxes and collapses at intervals during sleep.  It is a potentially fatal condition that blocks the passage of air.  Obesity also causes people to nap and stay asleep longer during the day and have trouble sleeping during the night.
